Mount Hart | Mitchell Falls | Kings Cascade | Prince Regent River | Horizontal Falls | Buccaneer Archipelago | Cygnet Bay

Tour Highlights

Start your day with a complimentary hotel transfer to Broome Aviation’s private departure lounge at Broome International Airport, where you’ll enjoy a tea or coffee in comfort before your pilot introduces you to the day’s itinerary and provides a safety briefing.

As you take off from Broome, fly over the striking Wunaamin Miliwundi Ranges (formerly the King Leopold Ranges), where the Dry Season brings out the dramatic beauty of the region’s rugged red earth and sparse greenery. The clear skies and vibrant colors make for a mesmerizing aerial view.

Your first stop is Mount Hart, an operational cattle station deep within the Kimberley wilderness. Here, enjoy a delicious morning tea while learning about the history and operation of this remote station, set against the vast Dry Season landscape.

Continuing north, the stunning Mitchell Falls come into view, with their cascading waters forming four distinct tiers. While the flow may be less intense during the Dry Season, the falls’ beauty is just as captivating in the clear skies and dry terrain.

Next, soar over the Prince Regent River, followed by the awe-inspiring King Cascade Falls and Montgomery Reef. The Dry Season’s calmer waters allow for incredible views of these unique landscapes as the tides shift the waters around the reef.

Fly over the Horizontal Waterfalls, where the tidal movements create natural water rapids that are a true spectacle of nature, especially during the Dry Season when the waters are calm and clear, offering a great view of this natural phenomenon.

The tour continues over the stunning Buccaneer Archipelago, home to countless islands including Cockatoo Island and Koolan Island. These islands are a highlight of the Dry Season with their crystal-clear waters and pristine beauty.

Land at Cygnet Bay for a guided pearl farm tour, where you’ll learn about the history of pearling in the Kimberley and see firsthand how these rare jewels are cultivated. The Dry Season provides an excellent time to visit as the weather is perfect for outdoor exploration.

Your return flight to Broome will take you along the coast, capturing breathtaking aerial views of Pender Bay, Beagle Bay, Carnot Bay, James Price Point, Willie Creek, and Cable Beach.

Note: The Horizontal Falls are a natural tidal phenomenon, and water levels vary. We adjust our schedule to ensure you experience the best tidal movements possible during your tour.
